Hi, I’m Mercedes. Friends & family call me Cede. 8 years ago, I got a camera for Christmas.
Since then, I’ve traveled all over New England & beyond, photographing families, couples, love stories and childhoods. I’ve fallen in love with not only photography itself, but creating art, documenting memories & getting a front row seat to so many of my client’s lives.
When I don’t have a camera in my hand, you can usually find me at home with my husband, our family & our Rottweiler Hendrix. I have grown to become a true homebody at heart & prefer slow weekends at home either baking, cooking a home-cooked meal or hanging on the front porch. Besides my love for photography, I am equally obsessed with all things coffee. My husband surprised me with a Breville for my 30th birthday & since then, I spend my free time making homemade syrups & delicious iced lattes for family & friends.
I prefer sweatpants over jeans, a closet full of neutrals & a close-knit circle. I’m a sucker for pasta, seafood, a glass of Cabernet, the fall, a crime documentary, and a good book. I am a Scorpio through & through… an all or nothing kind of girl, that loves hard (to a fault sometimes) but also has zero tolerance for anything & anyone that is not genuine. Although I can put on a serious face, I love it when my silly side loves to come out, especially with people are who are close to me. I love to make people laugh and love to do things for others. Most importantly, I love meeting new clients, getting their numbers, sharing inside jokes, documenting their lives & watching them turn into friends.
